Writing Coaching for Artists

Learn to express and communicate your visual work in writing, with guidance on essays, personal statements, speeches and other writing for non-academic, non-promotional audiences. 

Project engagements take place primarily over email, with some virtual touchpoints as needed, and range from a two-hour minimum engagement to project durations up to six weeks. We will respond to all inquiries within five business days and do our best to schedule session kick-offs within one month.

This offer is valid for two hours, which roughly translates to a one-to-two page overview ahead of the engagement and personalized suggestions via email, zoom or phone — a good fit for shorter pieces like artist statements, bios and refining a limited selection of talking points. To reserve more than two hours of time, please get in touch.

Engagements do not include ghostwriting, copy editing or proofreading services, but we are always happy to recommend experienced editors and other professionals.
