Most of Jeffie Brewer's sculptures are of joyful animals, with some nature and fantasy creature designs included in the mix. "Joy Machine" explores Jeffie Brewer's work in a large, high quality paperback book spanning more than 140 pages. Exclusive imagery and sketches, behind-the-scenes photos, process documentation and responses from curators, former students, collectors and art historians are interspersed with Jeffie's story, in his own words, to assemble a cohesive understanding of how and why he creates his art, and more importantly, what he hopes it inspires.
