For The Love chronicles the history, community and ongoing impact of Deep Ellum gallery Kettle Art in a December 9 release by Dallas author Jason Hensel.

A narrative history of local art, culture, and the gallery's artist community, this book features first-person reflections on Kettle Art, alongside stories, oral histories, photographs—archival and new—memorabilia, more than 20 artist profiles, and selected artworks. Together, they reveal the gallery’s first 20 years: its curatorial choices, community advocacy, and the artists it has championed. Essays from writers, civic leaders, and longtime friends complete the story.
